Today we finished the paper we were doing on tuesday, the back had only 2 questions left about colombus. I finished really quickly, it was light work.

Today we had a really long test in the auditorium, we only had 2 periods after that so we basically did not do anything, i just took a nap.

Today we worked on a physical assigment on paper, we read a short story on newsela about Colombus and how most of the things teachers taught us about him are not actually true. We had 4 different statements on the paper and we gave to give quotes and explain our argument and why is it or is not true. I finished the front page but i didnt finish the back.

Today we worked on lesson five of the vocabulary book, we chose 7 random words and find a picture that we think it relates with the word and explain why. This last fall break that we had last week was kinda boring, i went to the movies with my girlfriend and friends, we watched some scary movies since its halloween season. Besides that i think it was really boring, also it already started to get cold.

Today was a light friday, the only assingment we had was a newsela reading assignment, it was about the pros and cons of standing while the pledge of the allegiance. Stading up its more of a respect sign for the people who died in the past. After reading we answered some questions and then wrote a prompt explaining to check our understanding. I finished it right before the class ended.

Today we talked about claims and arguments before the assignment in class, we were reminding ourselves about it worked on claims,choose side between things and write why we chose that side and give some valid argument. We worked on 4 exercises, and then we were good for the day. It took me the whole class because i was kind of thinking about what i was going to write, but i turned it in on time.

 Today assignment was very simple, we learned 15 new words, and we had to write each definition down. After that we wrote 1 sentence for each word to check our understanding. At the end we just did some activities with the same words from the book. It was a really calm day, no stress.

 Today was a testing day, we had a benchmark test on illuminate, it was so boring, I didn't even finish the test I might have to finish it up tomorrow. I also had benchmark on my history class, but I was able to finish that one.

 Today's work was the continuation of yesterday's (September 30) We finished learning about Pathos, Logos, and Ethos. We watched some Ads about Brian Kemp, and understood some concepts of the different words in different contexts. Brian Kemp's videos were mostly full of guns, he also claimed to drive a F350.  All these videos and campaigns led him to be the governor of Georgia. This assignment felt short, we were talking the entire class about the topic and the videos.

 Today we worked on some vocabulary, Mr. Rease was teaching us some new words and we are going to work on this week, Logos, Pathos, and Ethos. We also got taught about Rhetoric question, and saw some examples of the vocabulary. Today was mostly a writing vocabulary, it was kind of an easy day for me, I was just writing anything highlighted on the board and that's it.
